PRAISED BE THE MOST HOLY SACREMENT OF THE ALTAR.
That Jesus Christ, true God and man, is in the Holy Sacrament of the altar. All reason is in the virtue of God, all knowledge in faith; that He can be there is the power of God, that He is there is of His will; that we know it, comes from the Church which does not err, and from the Holy Scripture, which does not deceive. That we do not understand it, is from the infirmity of our understanding. That we do not believe it, comes from the father of lies who did not abide in truth.
